Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient in Downtown Olympia, but the surrounding area had some unpleasant aspects. The service was friendly, though there were a few issues with the room and facilities. The dining experience was average, offering only typical American breakfast options.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms facing the lake on the 2nd to 8th floors offered pretty sunsets and picturesque views. However, the rooms tended to get hot, requiring me to keep the door open for a breeze to cool down the room. The service had some ups and downs; although there were rude comments during check-in, they were professional and positive overall. The location was a bit odd, with street people around, but it was excellent for my work needs near the city center. The dining was decent but could use some improvement, especially with the bathroom facilities. Overall, it's a place with both positives and negatives to consider.
The hotel had a bit of a rocky start with the room situation, but eventually, I got a room that matched what I paid for. The Wi-Fi in the room I ended up in was better, but the temperature was on the warmer side. The room was clean, and the staff were extremely courteous and respectful. The continental breakfast was a bit bland but decent. Its location is excellent for exploring downtown Olympia, with a great view of the lake and the capital building.
